Intermodal Containers

Intermodal Containers

East West Intermodal is a specialist in providing intermodal equipment, also called intermodal shipping containers. Such containers are built for intermodal freight transport. They can be used across multiple modes of transportation such as vessels, trains and trucks. The advantage of intermodal containers is that they do not need to unload or reload their cargo when they switch between modes of transport. Intermodal containers are convenient for moving freight by two or more ways of transportation.

Intermodal freight containers can be used to transport or store goods. We have new and used intermodal containers available for sale, rent or one way lease. Our containers are ISO approved intermodal containers, which means that they are containers produced according to the guidelines outlined by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO). These types of containers can be globally used for rails, trucks and vessels. All our containers have valid CSC-certification.

There are many types of intermodal containers. We have the standard 20-foot and 40-foot dry freight or general purpose containers, but also specialized containers, such as reefers, flat-rack, open top and pallet-wide containers in stock.
